Economical office furniture proves that cheapness doesn’t have to equal low quality

In the United Kingdom cheap office furniture has taken on a special meaning. No longer does this expression refer to lower grade of quality products. Actually, this expression now is connoted as pertaining to items that are a bargain in price yet still having an inherent degree of quality. Of course this use of the word cheap would probably apply to any affordably priced item built to a high standard. But, when dealing with furniture for the home or working office it seems the use of the word and the expression are particularly accurate in describing a great deal on high grade goods.
